Memorandum
Attached is a resolution to approve the City of Ann Arbor Water Treatment Plant West High Service Pump Station Public Project. This project is included in the 2012-2017 Capital Improvements Plan.
Petition Summary:
· This petition proposes construction of a 3-story pump station (2 floors below grade) totaling 5,114 sq. ft. The service pump station is proposed to be constructed adjacent to the eastern side of the existing administration building.
· The proposed addition will match the existing materials and architecture of the building.
· No natural features are proposed to be disturbed from this proposal.
A neighborhood meeting was held on February 9, 2012. A summary report of this meeting is included in the Planning staff report.
The City Planning Commission, at its meeting of March 20, 2012, passed a resolution finding the above project to adhere to City private development standards and recommended approval of this request.

Whereas, The Ann Arbor City Planning Commission, on March 20, 2012, passed a resolution finding the above project to adhere to City private development standards and recommended approval of this request;
RESOLVED, That City Council approve the City of Ann Arbor Water Treatment Plant West High Service Pump Station Public Project, dated February 22, 2012.
