Resolution to Approve Commercial Applicator Registration Fee
Memorandum
Attached for your consideration and approval is the resolution approving the registration fee paid by Commercial and Institutional Fertilizer Applicators as required under Chapter 70 of the Ann Arbor City Code.

City Code requires that commercial and institutional applicators shall submit a complete registration application to the Fertilizer Program Administrator on forms furnished by the City Clerk, along with the registration fee according to the schedule established by resolution of City Council. This fee is to be calculated to include the cost of registration application review and periodic field inspection.

The City Clerk has determined a fee based on actual costs. The City Clerk’s Office manages the Commercial Applicator registration process and is recommending this fee to cover the actual cost of providing the services.

Supplemental information for the recommendation is attached to the fee resolution. Staff requests your approval of the proposed fee adjustments.
