Whereas, The appointment of members of the Greenbelt Advisory Commission is a prerogative of the City Council;

Whereas, Shannon Brines was previously appointed for a three-year term as a member at large, expiring November 20, 2014;

Whereas, Shannon Brines has expressed an interest in continuing to serve on the Greenbelt Advisory Commission and would accept a reappointment to the Commission;

Whereas, The Greenbelt Advisory Commission recommends the reappointment of Shannon Brines to the Commission; and

Whereas, Shannon Brines was presented to City Council on December 15, 2014 for consideration for reappointment to the Greenbelt Advisory Commission;

RESOLVED, That Shannon Brines be appointed to serve a new three-year term on the Greenbelt Advisory Commission, as a member-at-large, with a term date beginning July 1, 2014 and expiring June 30, 2017; and

RESOLVED, That the City Clerk notify Mr. Brines of this appointment.
