Title

Resolution to Amend the Major Street Fund FY 2012 Expenditure and Revenue Budgets for the Lansdowne Pedestrian Bridge Replacement ($120,000.00) (8 Votes Required)

Body

Whereas, Lans Basin, Inc. will be repairing and or replacing the existing weir located in the Lansdowne Subdivision used for water control measures; and

Whereas, The pedestrian bridge located within the public right-of-way, sitting atop of the Lansdowne weir, became unsafe for pedestrian traffic and has been removed;

RESOLVED, That the Major Street Fund FY 2012 expenditure and revenue budgets be amended to reflect an increase of $120,000.00 funded by a onetime use of fund balance from the Major Street Fund to cover the costs for the design of the pedestrian bridge replacement; and

RESOLVED, That staff be directed to include funding for the construction of the Morehead-Delaware Pedestrian Bridge in the Capital Budget recommendation for FY 13.
