Whereas, Local residents have expressed long-standing concerns regarding the ambient noise in the City of Ann Arbor emanating from the section of M-14, from Maple Road to Main Street; and

 

Whereas Such concerns regarding noise have previously been communicated to the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT), however no action has been taken;

 

RESOLVED, That City Council authorizes the City Administrator to execute a letter in support of a noise abatement program including an environmental impact study of noise on highway M-14, from Maple Road to Main Street.
