Resolution to Amend Resolution R-08-069 for Mortgage Foreclosure Intervention and Prevention Services for the Use of General Fund Reserves ($20,000.00 General Fund Reserves) (8 Votes Required)
Memorandum
On February 19, 2008 (R-08-069), Council approved an allocation of $50,000.00 in Ann Arbor Housing Trust Funds and $20,000.00 in General Funds to fund Mortgage Foreclosure Intervention and Prevention Services to Legal Services of South Central Michigan and the Washtenaw County Treasurer per Resolution R-08-069. The Resolution should have specified General Fund Reserves but it said “General Fund” instead. This Amendment adds the word “Reserves” to specify the correct account.

Whereas, On February 19, 2008 Council approved an allocation of $50,000.00 in Ann Arbor Housing Trust Funds and $20,000.00 in General Funds to fund Mortgage Foreclosure Intervention and Prevention Services to Legal Services of South Central Michigan and the Washtenaw County Treasurer per Resolution R-08-069; and
Whereas, Resolution R-08-069 should have specified General Fund Reserves for the allocation of the $20,000.00 in General Funds;
RESOLVED, That the Mayor and Council approve the use of $20,000.00 in General Fund Reserves to fund Mortgage Foreclosure Intervention and Prevention Services in Legal Services of South Central Michigan and the Washtenaw County Treasurer in FY 08; and
RESOLVED, That the City Administrator, or his designee, is authorized to take necessary administrative actions and to execute any documents necessary to complete these transactions and to implement this resolution.
