Resolution for Community Events Fee Waivers from FY 2007/2008 (8 Votes Required)
Body
Whereas, The Ann Arbor City Council wishes to support activities that promote or bring the community together in its richness;
Whereas, The Ann Arbor Community Events Committee overlooked disbursing funds from FY 2007/2008 for two Main Street Area Association events ; and
Whereas, The Committee recommends the following fees from FY 2007/2008 be waived:
1) Main Street Area Association - Festifools - April 2008 - $1,389.66 to cover city fees
2) Main Street Area Association - Taste of Ann Arbor - June 2008 - $1,389.66 to cover city fees
RESOLVED, That the Ann Arbor City Council approve the recommended waiving of said fees from FY 2007/2008.
