This resolution would end the Health Streets program that Council ordered in Resolution R-20-262 titled “Resolution to Advance Healthy Streets Outside Downtown,” and would in effect end some aspects of the program.

Whereas, On July 6, 2020 the Ann Arbor City Council adopted Resolution R-20-262 titled “Resolution to Advance Health Streets Outside Downtown,” to create temporary bike and pedestrian lanes on major and minor streets outside of downtown Ann Arbor;
Whereas, On September 1, 2020 these bike and pedestrian lanes were installed throughout the City; and
Whereas, At this time City Council wishes to end some aspects of this program;
RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of Ann Arbor ends the Healthy Streets program outside of the downtown as contemplated in resolution R-20-262 on Packard between Platt and Eisenhower, on Broadway between Detroit Street and Maiden Lane, and on South Main Street between Pauline and East Stadium and directs the City Administrator to end the lane reconfigurations only on these street segments by October 15, 2020.
