This ordinance will zone this property to R1A, now that the property has been officially annexed into the City. The proposed zoning is consistent with the adjacent zoning, the surrounding land uses, and the City’s Master Plan. The City Planning Commission, at its meeting of September 16, 2008, recommended approval of the request.

AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE ZONING MAP BEING A PART OF CHAPTER 55 OF TITLE V OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF ANN ARBOR.
The City of Ann Arbor ordains:
Section 1. THE ZONING MAP, which, by Section 5:4 of Chapter 55 of Title V of the Code of the City of Ann Arbor is made a part of said Chapter 55, shall be so amended as to designate the zoning classification of property described as follows:
Commencing at the Southeast corner of Lot 12, HILLTOPS SUBDIVISION, as recorded in Liber 9 of Plats, Page 52, Washtenaw County Records; thence N 01 degrees 08 minutes 00 seconds East 374.16 feet along the East line of said subdivision; thence North 89 degrees 42 minutes 30 seconds West 190.88 feet (measured as 191.94 feet); thence South 03 degrees 07 minutes 00 seconds West 15.02 feet for a Place of Beginning; thence continuing South 03 degrees 07 minutes 00 seconds West 306.98 feet; thence nontangentially along the arc of a circular curve concave to the south with a radius of 1...
