Resolution to Approve North Sky Annexation, 3.45 Acres, West side of Pontiac Trail, North of Skydale (CPC Recommendation: Approval - 8 Yeas and 0 Nays)
Memorandum
This resolution is to approve the annexation of two parcels within the North Sky development proposal into the City. The parcels are within the ultimate City limits. The remainder of the North Sky property is already in the City. Once the annexation is complete, Council will be requested to consider the rezoning of the entire North Sky development site to R4A (Multiple-Family Dwelling District), except for a 1.9-acre parcel at 2701 Pontiac Trail, which is proposed to be zoned R1D (Single-Family Dwelling District). Council will also be requested to consider the site plan and development agreement for a combination of single-family, two-family and multiple-family dwelling units. The City Planning Commission, at its meeting of March 18, 2008, recommended approval of the request.

Whereas, The territory hereinafter described is located in the Township of Ann Arbor and is adjacent to the corporate limits of the City of Ann Arbor;
Whereas, Northsky Neighborhood LLC is the owner of said property; and
Whereas, It is the desire of Northsky Neighborhood LLC to annex said territory to the City of Ann Arbor, pursuant to the provisions of Act 359 of the Public Acts of the State of Michigan for the year 1947, as amended;
RESOLVED, That the following described lands and premises situated and being in the Township of Ann Arbor, Washtenaw County, Michigan, be detached from said Township of Ann Arbor and annexed to the City of Ann Arbor, to-wit:
