Resolution to Approve the Transfer of Location of a Class C Liquor Licensed Business held in Conjunction with a New SDM Liquor License located at 990 E. Eisenhower - D/B/A Whole Foods Market
Memorandum
Attached is a resolution to approve the request from Whole Foods Market Group, Inc., to transfer the location of a 2007 Class C liquor licensed business located in escrow at 3135 Washtenaw in Ann Arbor, to 990 E. Eisenhower in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The applicant is also requesting a New SDM Liquor License to be held in conjunction with the Class C.
The applicant plans to operate the business as a full service market with in-store dining which will include beer and wine for sale for consumption on premises and off premises. The market will be open daily from 8: a.m. to 10:00 p.m., and there will be no entertainment or dancing at the location. City Council approval is not required for the new SDM Liquor License.
The Police, Planning and Development, Treasurer and Fire Services approved the application. There are no delinquent property taxes, all application fees are paid and there are no objections from City Staff.
