PROCLAMATION
In Appreciation of
Tom Wiseman and Julie Armitage
November 10, 2016
WHEREAS, Tom Wiseman and Julie Armitage have dedicated themselves
to volunteering with Natural Area Preservation’s herpetology
program; and
WHEREAS, Tom Wiseman and Julie Armitage have worked enthusiastically to complete field surveys, lead volunteers, enter data, plan projects, and enhance the overall scope and success of our program to protect amphibian and reptile populations in Ann Arbor’s natural areas; and
WHEREAS, Tom Wiseman and Julie Armitage have demonstrated excellent work ethic, a collaborative team spirit, and positive attitudes; collectively volunteering over 450 hours during the summer and fall of 2016; and
WHEREAS, The City of Ann Arbor appreciates and celebrates the dedicated work of volunteers in assisting with the care of our parks and natural areas.
NOW THEREFORE, I, Christopher Taylor, Mayor of Ann Arbor, Michigan, in recognition of these personal and volunteer endeavors conducted for the greater good of our community, do hereby proclaim a commemoration of Tom Wiseman and Julie Armitage on November 10, 2016, in the City of Ann Arbor.
