Resolution to Approve FY 2023 Fee Adjustments for the Community Services Area
Memorandum
For consideration and approval is a resolution authorizing fee adjustments and new fees for FY 2023 for the Community Services Area. While the majority of fees for this Area will remain stable from FY 2022, amended and revised fees are proposed as follows:
• For Site Plan Review, carrying the $50.00 per lot and/or per 1,000 square feet of new floor area development calculation charge to Site Plans for Planning Commission Approval.
• Adding three new charges for building permit data entry, processing paper applications, and scheduling inspections on behalf of applicants when not conducted in STREAM system.

Body
Whereas, All Service Units of the City review their fees regularly as part of the budget process;
Whereas, recent changes in the Unified Development Code support the applicant of site plan review fees to scale with the size of proposed development; and
Whereas, The implementation of the City’s new STREAM permitting system shall provide direct access for applicants to submit applications and schedule inspections for efficient processing;
RESOLVED, That fees for the Community Services Area be adjusted according to the attached schedules;
RESOLVED, That the attached fee schedule become effective on July 1, 2022; and
RESOLVED, That City Council authorize the City Administrator to take necessary administrative actions to implement this resolution.
