Resolution to Approve the Bibby Annexation, 0.32 Acre, Located South of Dexter Road West of N. Maple Road (CPC Recommendation: Approval - 8 Yeas and 0 Nays)
Memorandum
Approval of this resolution will allow annexation of this property from Scio Township into the City. The property is within the City’s water and sewer service area, and the current use is consistent with the adjacent zoning, land uses and master plan. Council action on the proposed R1C (Single-Family Dwelling District) zoning will be scheduled after the annexation process is complete.
The City Planning Commission, at its meeting of 4/18/17, recommended approval of the request

Whereas, The territory hereinafter described is located in the Township of Scio and is adjacent to the corporate limits of the City of Ann Arbor;
Whereas, Jason and Andrea Bibby are the owners of said property; and
Whereas, It is the desire of Jason and Andrea Bibby to annex said territory to the City of Ann Arbor, pursuant to the provisions of Act 279 of the Public Acts of the State of Michigan for the year 1909, as amended;
RESOLVED, That the following described lands and premises situated and being in the Township of Ann Arbor, Washtenaw County, Michigan, be detached from said Township of Scio and annexed to the City of Ann Arbor, to-wit:
