Resolution to Appoint Members to the Council of the Commons (8 Votes Required for one-step appointments)
Body
Whereas, City Council Resolution R-20-397 established the Council of the Commons;
Whereas, City Council Resolution R- 20-417 appointed two City Council members to serve on the Council of the Commons;
Whereas, City Council Resolution R-20-423 appointed two representatives from the Community Commons Initiating Committee and two from the Library Green Conservancy to the Council of the Commons; and
Whereas, City Council has passed a resolution restating the membership, terms, and duties of the Council of the Commons
RESOLVED, City Council affirms the appointment of the following members to the Council of the Commons, who have been recommended by their respective commissions:
1. Stephen Borgsdorf as the representative from the Park Advisory Commission
2. Sara Hammerschmidt as the representative from the City Planning Commission
(One-step appointment - 8 Votes Required);
RESOLVED, City Council affirms the following at-large appointments to the Council of the Commons, who have been nominated by the City Council members serving on the Council of the Commons:
