Title
Resolution to Approve the Michigan Department of Transportation Performance Resolution for Governmental Services
Memorandum
The attached Performance Resolution is required by the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) for the purposes of issuing to a municipality an “Individual Permit for Use of State Highway Right of Way” or an “Annual Application and Permit for Miscellaneous Operations Within State Highway Right of Way”.
This resolution is to approve the attached Performance Resolution For Governmental Agencies (MDOT Form 2207B), so that the City can apply for the annual permit to perform various routine maintenance activities (such and utility repairs, streetlight repairs, etc.) within MDOT rights-of-way within the City of Ann Arbor.
This Performance Resolution form has recently been updated by MDOT, and therefore MDOT is requiring City Council’s approval of the updated document. This resolution also authorizes the Street Administrator for the City of Ann Arbor (currently Nicholas Hutchinson) to sign the document on the behalf of City Council.
