How Established: Council resolution R-186-4-89, approved April 6, 1989.
Purpose: To establish a more efficient and effective mechanism to resolve common issues and to develop and maintain a broad, joint cooperation agreement.
Special Qualifications for Appointment: Representatives from both governmental units.
Length of Terms: City Councilmembers and Board members are appointed for 1 year. The City Administrator and the School Superintendent serve by virtue of office.
Meeting Times / Frequency: As-needed.
Membership / Committee Composition: 2 City Councilmembers, 2 School Board Members, 2 additional members from the City Council (on an issue-interest basis), 2 additional members from the School Board (on an issue-interest basis), City Administrator (ex officio), Superintendent of Schools (ex officio).
