Retiree Health Care Benefit Plan & Trust Board of Trustees
Established By Ordinance No. 41-98, adopted by City Council October 19, 1998. Section 1:748, Chapter 21, Title I of the Ann Arbor City Code.
Purpose
The general administration, management and responsibility for the proper operation of the Trust and for making effective and construing the provisions of the Trust, consistent with applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
Special Qualifications for Appointment
The Board of Trustees shall be the same elected and appointed individuals that serve on the City of Ann Arbor Employees' Retirement System Board of Trustees.
Length of Terms
3 years (terms of appointed and elected trustees are identical to the terms each trustee serves on the City of Ann Arbor Employees' Retirement System Board of Trustees); terms of the City Administrator and Finance Director are identical to his/her terms of office.
Meeting Times and Frequency
Regular meetings are convened directly after Retirement Board meetings on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 8:30 a.m. at 301 E. Liberty St., Suite 680.
Membership / Committee Composition
This board has the same members as the Employee's Retirement System Board of Trustees.
