Purpose: To provide input and advise to city staff, as City staff prepares recommendations on the future of the City's golf operations to the Parks Advisory Commission and City Council. (The Task Force will be responsible directly to the Mayor and City Council, but will also report out to the Parks Advisory Commission.) Special Qualifications for Appointment: Commercial golf operations expert, golf operations expertise, golf play experience, golf course patron Length of Terms: Meeting Times and Frequency: 2nd Wednesday of Each Month. Meeting location is 6th Floor Conference Room of City Hall July 2010 through December 2010. Meeting location is 7th Floor of the City Center Building for January, February and March 2011. Membership/Committee Composition: 8 members, including 1 councilmember, 1 Parks Advisory Commission member, 1 current commercial golf operations expert, 3 Ann Arbor citizens with demonstrated golf operations expertise, 1 citizen with group golf play experience, 1 at-large Ann Arbor golf courses patron, nominated and approved by the Mayor and City Council.
